About MobileMonday
Mission
MobileMonday is a global community of mobile industry visionaries, developers and influentials fostering cooperation and cross-border business development through virtual and live networking events to share ideas, best practices and trends from global markets.
MobileMonday has the following objectives:
- To encourage innovation within the mobile sector.
- To facilitate networking between small and large companies, and between local and foreign.
- To help local companies effectively participate in international initiatives through the import and export of visions, concepts, technologies, know-how and best practices.
- To present innovative visions, trends, studies and forecasts from the mobile marketplace.
- To facilitate and create partnerships.
- To contribute to the education of the broader public through its publications, online presence and media partnerships.
Mobile Monday is organized by a group of dedicated volunteers from around the world. Originating in Helsinki, Finland, in the year 2000, MobileMonday has grown into the world’s leading mobile community.
History
The remarkable MobileMonday phenomenon began almost by accident in Helsinki, Finland during the autumn of 2000. A couple of well-known Finnish visionaries, invited the who’s who of the Finnish mobile industry to a pub for an informal get-together and perhaps a warming drink. The only suitable time? Monday evening. After meeting many new faces and discussing the latest in mobility, the group decided to continue meeting on the first Monday of each month — and thus, MobileMonday was born. Towards the end of 2004, the movement started to spread to other areas of the world and new MoMo chapters were started in Japan, USA as well as Australia. Since then, the number of MobileMonday chapters and members has dramatically increased making MobileMonday the world’s leading mobile community. By the end of 2008 MobileMonday has got 100,000 members in more than 70 locations globally. Recently Mobile Monday has been launched in Central Europe (Austria, Polen and Hungary) and by the beggining of 2009 MobileModay Prague started its activities in Czech Republic.

Privacy Statement
Except in accordance with a lawful order by competent legal authorities, Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s., will not share any personally identifiable or private customer information submitted online with any third party, unless they are acting as an intermediary. An example of an intermediary would include credit card companies.
Use of Content
All Content on the site or included in a downloadable report or other product (”Content”) belongs to Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. or our contributors (hereafter referred to as the “Suppliers”). Contributors, other than Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s., are identified in the text of the Content.
You may retrieve and display Content from the site on a computer screen or other device, print individual pages on paper (but not photocopy them), and store such pages in electronic form on hard disk or on your mobile telephone (but not on any server or other storage device connected to a network) for your personal use.
Except as expressly set out in these Terms of Use, you may not reproduce, modify, or in any way commercially exploit any of the Content. You may not share the Content in its entirety with any other person in any format whatsoever, including posting on any public or private Web server, exchanging via email, any other redistribution, or in any other way that reduces its value to the Suppliers. You may make reference the content under customary Fair Use provisions of the copyright law prevailing in the jurisdiction to which sale of the Content was billed.
In particular, but without limiting the general application of the restrictions contained in these Terms of Use, you may not do any of the following without prior written permission from Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s.:
· Redistribute any of the content (including using it as part of any library, archive or similar service)
· Remove the copyright or trade mark notice from any copies of content made under these Terms of Use
· Create a database in electronic or structured manual form by systematically downloading and storing all or any of the content
· You agree that, should you subsequently cite any part of the Content in any other work, you will add a source citation similar to: “(C) Mobile Monday {{OR INSERT NAME OF Contributor}}. Available via http://www.mobilemonday.cz” or http://www.mobilemonday.net” as a copyright and source notice.
Limitation and Disclaimer
Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose. Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. does not warrant that access to the MobileMonday site will be uninterrupted or error free or that the website or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs.
Neither Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. nor the Suppliers shall be liable for any damage or loss of any kind arising out of or resulting from the subscriber’s possession or use of the site and/or the Content (including data loss or corruption and including lost profits or other indirect or consequential loss even if Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. has been advised of the possibility of such damage), regardless of whether such liability is based in tort, contract or otherwise.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Suppliers disclaim any liability or responsibility for any loss or damage of whatever nature and howsoever arising, (regardless of whether such liability is based in tort, contract or otherwise), which may be suffered or incurred as a result of or in connection with any action or decision taken in reliance upon information contained in the Content.
Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. reserves the right, without liability to the user, to vary the technical specification of site or the Content. Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s. may temporarily suspend the site for the purposes of upgrade or maintenance. Where significant down time is anticipated, we will endeavour to notify subscribers in advance where possible and will endeavour to resume the site without undue delay.
Neither the Suppliers, or Mobile Monday Czech Republic o.s., make any representations about the accuracy of the information, data, advertisements, graphics, or other content included in the Content. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, Content produced by the Suppliers may from time to time include technical inaccuracies or typographical errors.
The Suppliers shall not be held liable for any inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in, nor for any delay in provision thereof, the Content.
ALL CONTENT IS PROVIDED WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE SUPPLIERS, THEIR STAFF MEMBERS, THEIR FREELANCE CONTRIBUTORS, THEIR RELATED COMPANIES, AND ANY RESPECTIVE SUPPLIERS, AND THEIR EMPLOYEES, MANAGERS, AND OWNERS HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES WITH REGARD TO THE CONTENT IN THIS REPORT, INCLUDING ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE OF OWNERSHIP, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
In no event shall The Suppliers, their staff, their freelance contributors, their related companies, or any respective suppliers be liable for any special, indirect, or consequential damages, or any damages whatsoever, resulting from the loss of use, data, or profits, whether in an action of contract, negligence, or other legal action, arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of Content.
Product, service, or corporate names mentioned in Mobile Monday media channels or in the Content may be protected by trademark or similar intellectual property rights in one or several legal jurisdictions. Any mention of such marks in no way implies that they are not protected under applicable law.
Data, information, views, opinions, and recommendations of The Suppliers are intended for informational purposes only and are not intended for trading or other financial purposes.
